Colette and Chanti finally had their day on stage. It took months of rehearsals, both in regular class and on Sundays, but I feel this production of "Sleeping Beauty" was magnificent. Both girls were in awe of the "big girls" on pointe and the whole magic of being backstage, the rushing, the lights, the nervousness before coming out onto stage, the waiting in their dressing rooms. I captured some images behind the scenes both on dress rehearsal day and on the evening performace day, as I was one of the mom helpers too. I only wish I could have put on a tutu and danced right along them...jaja

Fuímos especialmente a Chicago para estas Funciones de las nenas. Bailaron lindo y ví sus adelantos. Estuvieron mas seguras en lo que hacían, disfrutaron las coreografías, la música y sus amiguitas.
En la segunda función, la de la noche, Colette pudo ver la parte de las Profesionales, estuvo callada y observándolo todo.
